Thanks to Lou (DC Bluesman) I have a New Finish. I used Crystal Coat and then Lou's Wax. Smooth, Very Smooth. Doesn't feel like Oak.:)

Nice looking pen John! I have an endless supply of red oak so I'm sure I'll be making a few pens from it. Thanks for sharing!
