Here's one I made from some wood that I bought from Draken. It is reclaimed Crib Damn wood from the Rappahannock River and is believed to be aged some where between 1650 and 1854. It's oak and I'm not a big fan of oak because of the open grain, but I really like the color. I took some close up so you could see the grain and color. I didn't add anything to make it darker. I just turned it and finished it with CA. Before I finished it you could look into the grain and see specks of minerals that looked like glitter. Anyways, let me know what you think.
