Oak Burl Candy Dish

A friend gave me this oak burl and I just tried to keep it together. Filled in some of the voids with crushed turquoise but not all. I must admit - it looks nice. 6" wide by 3.5" high. As always - c&c welcomed!

That is beautiful. I love to use burl wood, especially when there are voids that are or are not filled.
The voids add to the beauty. IMHO.

The only negative thing I can say about it, is I wish there were pictures of the side so see the figure on there. Beautiful bowl though.

Wonderful dish. I think you filled in just enough of the voids to give a nice element, but left some open.
