Nut job not me the bowl

The bowl is cottonwood burl with a light rust stain the insert is black walnut with a shellac and BLO finish. C & C are welcome

That is beautiful, love the burl.
It gets really "SCARY" when your workpiece is in such a cracked/split condition. Takes nerves of steel to get much thinner than that.

Those live edge burls sure are fun to turn.Nice serving bowl.
