Now that the Birthday bash is over, what do we do with our time? It seems we have all been focusing on this wonderful event.(thanks to all of those who worked so hard and donated) TO the newbie guys like me it makes this places better than the circus. or maybe like one.:clown: I have on been in the turning world less than a year and would have never advanced to where I am without the help of this place.

So for all of us Newbies

Thanks

Phil

Well, some of us come out of our man caves and see the sun. Give a hoarse war cry, rattle our lathe tools and do the victory dance, some do the "losers" band wagon shuffle.

I have plenty of stuff to look forward to doing, I need to get in the shop and rattle a few tools for a change instead of being glued to this place. as far as going to the MPG I would have to hitch a ride. Maybe someday I can make something like that.

nickles you sayI(there aint enough nickles in my county) I may need t post a kidney on craigslist to have enough money to buy a auction item.

Phil, This is what I would do if I was you. I would sweep my shop floor. Then I would spread all the prizes you won in the Bash out in a circle. I would then sit in the circle thowing handfuls of blanks in the air saying "I'm rich, I'm rich".

sweep:confused: what is that. This is the closest I am gonna get to being rich:eek: I better get several picks of the stuff to remind me I was almost famous once.

I also would like to sell a $300 pen or any other priced pen for that matter. I am glad when anyone sees the value in something I create
