Finally got this installed today. Getting up on the roof with a couple of inches of snow and 17 degrees with a circular saw was more than a little bit fun. Tomorrow, it's supposed to warm up a bit so I'll redo the shingles, etc. but I was to excited and had to test it out today.

Brian, or anyone else.I am looking for a wood cook stove if anyone knows where one is available. I also know what they are normally priced at but am looking for a deal. IT ahs to function but does not necessarily have to be pretty. I want to put it on my back porch for use when canning, cooking stinky things etc. Something like the above could work but I prefer a larger heating surface.

I would check with your local stove shops. While they may not deal specifically with wood cook stoves, they are most likely getting inquiries for parts or to see if they would take them on trade. If nothing else they may be able to direct you to a better source on finding what you need.

Best of like finding a gem. My folks had a **** stove and I miss it greatly. It made the best turkeys and breads.

Check Craigslist - that's where I got mine. Just be prepared - the stove is the cheap part - the chimney is where the money's at.

I installed one in my shop last winter and like Stephen said the stove is the cheap part but it sure makes the shop cozy.
