Nova 1624 upgradeable?

Says on their website that you can upgrade to DVR technology at any time. Any Nova owners know what that consists of? How much it would cost to do that?

from what i heard , removing head unit / sending off to upgrade . i think its kinda pricy . if you find out anything other or excat price lit me know .....also 1624

I've been turning on my Nova3000 for 5 years now. From pens to 29" Plate.

I sent Teknatool an E-mail asking a couple days ago. Haven't gotten a response back yet. They also have a pretty good looking sharpening system on their website. I think it's a brand new product. You can get the whole thing for 89 bucks straight from them.

For anything Nova, google "Tim Geist Teknatool". Tim handles waranty for Teknatool. He normally has used/returned/repair/refurb at substantial asvings and is one helluva nice guy!

I have a Nova 3000 when I called Technatool and asked if I could just buy a new DVR head & install on my bed, they told me YES it would fit, but NO they would not sell me one...

Thanks for contacting us and your interest in our products.

The NOVA 1624-44 upgrade kit is not available just yet. It is likely to
become available later this year. We will announce this in our monthly
Newsletter and our website when this upgrade kit becomes available.

We are selling the Sharpening center system right now through our US
service center. This unit is not yet available in any US stores, buy
will become available soon.
