Never heard of them. Please buy a gallon of each and report back:D. Seriously, I'm a skeptic by nature. Seems to me if the products were really good, they would be commonly discussed on these forums. The cedarcide, was discussed in the More Woodturning publication in 2005 so it has had plenty of time to really catch on with the turner world. Just my skeptical opinion.

I find it odd that it's called "Internal" Wood Stabilizer, yet everything else talks in "coats" (and only one at that). [?] Just sounds contradictory to me.;)

Plexitone is acetone and plexiglass mixed. The plexiglass melts in the acetone and can be mixed to your desired thickness. (The smaller the glass is cut the faster is dissolves)

I researched CedarCide a long time ago. Lots of googling around found that it did nothing special and cost a bunch. Those who bought the gallons and ran the tests never bothered to buy additional gallons.

Call them and request an MSDS and then you will know what it is.

"Material Safety Data Sheets" are required by law.
