accually i was refering to the......

hmm this doesnt nearly fill that flat rate box....i guess one more thing wouldn't hurt.....

Don't do it....

When I sold on eBay, I was always amazed at how many buyers would buy one thing, then ask if I would add others and give them a discount on shipping (even when I offered free shipping as I did on most of my sales including auction sales). Most of the time I said no but when I would agree (usually if I had to ship in a medium flat rate box, I'd let them ad until it was full) they would sometimes end up with 5 or 6 times as much stuff as they started with.

was a nice guy, sold me ton of blanks
had to upgrade to the medium box to fit stuff
.....then shame not to fill the box....just a few more

problem is its TOO easy to use paypal
click click click click paynow click - wait on mail
think we can get a class action lawsuit against paypal?
all the people it must have hurt by now

and when you sell, put on your listing if you'll combine etc
if they still ask, refer them back to reading said listing

Now and then

I bought a whole bunch of dyed burls on ebay for a song about 2 years ago. Nobody bid and the seller had a real low opening bid and combined for shipping. I've made a bunch of nice pens.

So don't hole your wallet too tight....
