My truck has CD and cassette. But my last Jeep had a 8-Track player mounted on a anti theft plate so you could take it out so no-one would steal it.

My 99 Dodge truck has a cassette in it. Can't remember the last time I used it or where the heck any cassettes are in the house.lol

My '86 FLHTC has a cassette....Nothing like cruising down the road blasting the 1812 Overture ?<sp>

I used to have one of those back in college so I could play my portable CD player in the car. I don't think I've ever seen them (till now) marketed as IPod accessories!!!

On a side note, for Christmas this year, I put together a Bluetooth Turntable system for my wife. She can go upstairs and put one of her vintage albums on a really nice turntable, then bring her bluetooth speaker downstairs and listen to it... She's in heaven, and I am laughing at the dichotomy of it all

Back in the 60's I cut a section out of the dash and mounted a reel to reel tape player in the car. Really impressed the girlfriend at the time and we are still together after 47 years.

Here's a slot loaded Car Turntable that I'm sure Apple would have come out with (in brushed aluminium) if they were around back then...
