Not Pen Turning But.......

I have to gloat....
My daughter, Brandie (15) a Freshmen, had an awards ceremony at her school today. Well she did very good. She got a Letter for Academics and she got a trophy for maintaining an "A" average for each quarter of the entire year. Therefore she is ranked in the top 8 in her class. My wife and I are so proud of her!!!
And the best part, some of you may know from previous posts, she turns pens just like my wife and I. I have put a picture of her letter and trophy in this post. Thanks for listening to me gloat.

As a high school teacher I know how much work it takes for her to do that, plus the good parenting it takes. You should be proud!

As a college professor in Engineering, I wish my students were more like her. Tell her that if she decides to go into engineering I would love to have her as a student.

Paul, she wants to major in architecture and minor in graphic design or something like that. I know she wants to be an architect. I wish I had half the drive she has. Also, this is her first year back in public schools. We home schooled her the last 4 years.
