What finish can I put on a Norfolk Island pine bowl to make it look good ? thanks Joe

The traditional is to soak the bowl in an Oil-Varnish-Solvent (about 1/3 each) until it is soaked through and then allow to dry and polish. Works with thin turned walls.
Walnut oil works well for not=so=thin walls to give a nice appearance.
NIP is a very soft wood and an oil finish works well for touchups.
