Yup, that seal is inlayed. I wish I could put a high gloss shine on the entire box. Or at least the top. Anybody here do that sort of work?

You could use some thin cardboard to act as a mold around the box top and then pour some "bar top epoxy" on it. That would give a high gloss cover to it.

Other than that the regulars of everal coats of laquer or high gloss poly like you would finish any other flat project.
