Well I have not turned a blessed thing since Feb as I moved south a bit and had to get a new shop. I look at things on here sometimes 5 times a day and get very envious, but it will be soon , very soon. Here are a few pictures of what it was and what it will be. Just finished Painting today.

Lin,

Gotta love it when a plan comes together! Looking good.

I'm curious, why you chose to use plywood on the bottom 4' of walls instead of running sheetrock all the way down to the floor? Are you planning on a lot of cabinets aroud the walls?

Keep us posted with some progress photos.

George I will have bench and tools against the walls nearly all the way around and most of the machines are on the castor frames and when you roll them back to the wall they bang up or go throught the sheet rock, so the last shop I did it this way and it worked fine.

I built a new shop/garage that is 40x28 about 10 years ago and I put up all pegboard....as I was putting it up I wondered how I would ever fill this thing up, now I wonder why I didn't go bigger!!!! It was a great project, I had great fun planning, installing and rearranging...sounds like you have done this before, so enjoy! Send us progress photos.
