Just wanted to say hello. A newbie checking in from South Central Texas. I am happy to report that there is no snow in Round Rock TX. It was cold outside this morning so my garage shop was comfortable this morning. Just starting my research on getting setting up to turn some pens. Looking hard at a Sherline lathe.

John, welcome to the addiction and the IAP from West Kentucky. You just received an invitation from one of the masters, Curtis, to come for a visit. If you can possibly arrange it, go for it. I wish I was a lot closer.

Made the trek to Curtis's shop yesterday and had a great time. Very educational to say the least. Have a follow-up scheduled next Saturday morning to learn some more looking forward to it.
