Looks like I'm going to stay out of the shop this week, with the forecasted temps here.
Monday - 102
Tuesday - 100 -this is the coldest day
Wednesday - 102
Thursday - 104
Friday -105
Saturday - 107

that will put the shop at 110 and above, think I'll just hang out in the pool and drink lots of fluids.

WOW! a cool spell. We've been at 113-115
Yea I know you guys are really getting hit this year with both the heat and fires; we have a few friends out there one almost lost their house to the fire, this is our first full week over 100, we usally have already a couple-three of them by now. Guess it our cold summer this year.
Burrrr

It's a dry heat though

ah come on Danny, I cut my quarters when the temps are 104 in the garage with no A/C. I have the fan blowing on me, feels like a blow dryer, but hey, a big gynormous glass of ice water and as soon as i start sweating, its natural a/c!

If I really need to get something done thats what I do, but since I finished up my last order lot I had on Saturday, and am waiting for more supplies to start the next, hanging out in the pool seems like the best plan.. No since on rushing into things

I love it when a plan comes together

You want hot? Come on down to Arizona. Temp has not fallen below 100 (MANY days of 110+) in weeks/months. And NO RAIN.

This is I why I live in So Cal.

I have lived in AZ, NM, TX, OK and SD, I've had prolonged visits in Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, and Florida. It get a bit warm from time to time, but nothing like those places.

I rather like it when the onshore flow resumes. I'm close enough for a cool down but far enough that I don't get the overcast or humidity. (Usually).

We had to get out the down coats this morning. Temp got all the way down to 71 at sun rise. Burrrrrrrr! Oh well the humidity was 100 % and stayed there until after 10am when it hit 86. Feels much better now, 72 degrees, 55% humidity inside.

I got a metal building also, I took A heavy canvas and hung it up seperating half the building.I do not have to stand up to turn,I roll to the Jet and drill, while i am turning with the delta always got something drilling when turning,I open up the canvas where the shavings will go under the canvas in the otherside, got a little AC in window which helps when putting pens together, but still sweat like a dog in it,can turn if i start early or late, the otherside of the curtain it at least 20-30dgs hotter.it does make a differance
