No shop time this afternoon

Was working in the shop about 11 this morning and heard this loud crash. Looked out the window and saw that this 18 wheeler had caught the communication lines and took down the power line and the pole across the street. Center point finally arrived after about an hour and cleared the street an and cut the power at the pole that supplies my house and shop. Been using my generator to keep the AC on but don't want to run my lathe and dc at the same time and trip the breaker. Just waiting on them to get the next crew out to replace the pole and get power restored.

Good time to short out tools and sweep the floor. Hopefully you have a flashlight for this. Always something to be done in the shop.

Power back on at 4:45 this afternoon.
I'll get caught up tomorrow in the shop.
Now I get to go around and reset all the clocks and the coffee pot.
