Some may remember that my father went in for an emergency biopsy. The tumor they removed was 7cm. The results said he had cancer. The family prepared for the worst. the first test after the results ruled out lymphoma. Then a cat scan showed nothing. Now after a PET scan and several baffled doctors there is no sign of cancer anywhere. He is supposed to go back in 3 months and they will test, then 3 months after that for a third test. The oncologist said you can't treat what is not there. Several years ago he had a small spot of melanoma removed but it was superficial.
