Just got back to my Daughters house from the Atlanta Woodworking Show. I didn't spend but $400.

I finally got to meet Al, aka "DocStram", and Jim, aka "underdog". It was great talking with them and sharing our thoughts.

Hey there!

Glad to meet you too James!

I also saw Doc Stram, Rojo (Robert) and his dad, Steve, and DScott. I must have missed Bruce Boone by just a few seconds though.

Y'know I posted that invitation to come see me at the turning booth on three other forums, and do ya know, this is the one I met all the people from!?

I only spent the $5 on the parking James...

yep. I squeak when I walk. [;)]

I almost bought the wolverine sharpening system... I might still get a buddy of mine to pick one up tomorrow...

I missed all of you. I went today and will probably go back tomorrow. I saw Robert today, but he was too busy and I did not want to disturb him. I did see a JET lathe for $179 though.

It's always great to meet IAP members in person. I haven't seen Underdog since the first Bubbasville Atlanta .... plus, I got to meet James (jejenk02) in person. Too bad we were rushed, but we at least got to sit down and chat face to face for a few minutes.

Sorry I missed Andy, Rojo, Dscott and BT. It was pretty much a madhouse up there. Loads of people.

But, I did stand by the CSUSA pen display ... and tried to recruit some new penturners for IAP. Hopefully, we'll see them coming to IAP.

I may have been standing at the turbo tool booth. 500,000 rpms. Hmm...What could I do with one of these? [:D] I didn't get one because I didn't have a pressing application for it right now, but I have a year to think of something for next year's show. It was pretty crowded there today.

I was there as well and only lightened by $150. Talked to you Jim and did not realize it was you. Maybe next time we should put IAP flags on our heads.[:)]

It was about 11:00am at the Georgia Woodturners booth. We did not exchange names and our conversation was very brief (60 seconds or less of "how are you doing" type of exchange. I was picking up literature as I'm sure hundreds of others did. I noticed your name tag and it didn't register until I saw this thread and to use the technical term, realized that I had a big time brain fart yesterday. This will id me with no possibility of confusion... I was the somewhat over weight old fart with glasses [:D]! Sorry it didn't register at the time.
