Nice DI burl from Nolan, dressed in a Jr Statesman

First fountain pen I've turned in at least 2 years that wasn't closed end.

Turned out beautiful. Sprayed with 5 coats of semi-gloss conversion varnish and buffed with Ren-wax.


Had to tweak the brightness and color contrast a touch to get these pics true to life--- the burl from Nolan really is this nice.

Of course it's beautiful... I can only imagine what it looks like in sunlight!

Didnt' have enough sunlight to check it today, but I'll check it tomorrow . Definitely has some nice chatoyance.
