I made a similar looking push stick awhile back but it wasn't real easy replacing the bottom sacrificial piece. I seen a post on another site where they attached the sacrificial bottom with Velcro. I redesigned mine using the Velcro idea. I put a groove in the back for piece of mdf to slide through, fully adjustable for depth and it allows me to just cut it off until it's mostly used up. The mdf can be flipped so I can use both ends. When the bottom piece is in bad shape you just pull it off and attach a new piece. It also allows creating custom sacrificial bottoms, if needed.

Wonderful. I remember hearing Dick Sing comment on his unique tool handles and jigs. I believe many were hand made to fit his hands and what he wanted them to feel like. And they are beautiful!

As he said (I paraphrase): "These are mine for my use, they feel good to me and I like beautiful tools. Besides, I like to make things and it's fun!"

Ken, your many jigs reflects this perspective. This would be a nice IAP Library addition.
