Got my pen stands today from Charley.
I opened the box and my first thought was "What is this blue crap?"
Oh.
I guess he figured out that if I figured that out I wouldn't need instructions.

I am lost because I have not had the pleasure yet of purchasing a pen stand from Charlie. Is it the blue protector covering on the sides, and the other peices? I am a blonde so give me a break.

LOL .. I just spotted this thread.. Just to mess you up, the latest batch
is white! But it does protect the plastic during shipping. so YOU get to
scratch it up!

Thats an understatement. I used a paper towel and got scrathes on my logo Charlie Lasered for me.

The do clean up very nicely with Novus2 or PlastX though.. I've had to
re-do some of mine because they get knocked around in the shop. I
seem to put them everywhere there is dust and grit. (yeah.. my shop)
But if they won't clean up, send me a PM

I got this cool pen blank as a freebie with my stand!!!

But when I tried to mount it in my chuck for drilling .... the light came on! :biggrin:

Well.. it should work fine. I did your sign a few times before I got it right,
and so I've used a broken one for practice. :tongue: I used the PlastX on it .
worked like a charm. I think I might have finished with the Hut Ultra

Funny thing, I got one of those metal blanks as well! Mine was sorta "Hot Fuschia" color!

NOW YOU TELL ME! I got the blue stands in one box and white risers in another so I went out today and bought a red table cover for that patriotic theme! Now you tell us we gotta peel the colors off! I'm stuck with this stupid red tablecloth that these shiny clear stands don't go with.. Where's me a can of paint! :biggrin:
