I decided that I would bring my mood up a bit and bought another truck. It is going to have to have some of the lettering redone, but this thing is a beast, even came with an extra couple sets of tires and rims. The neighbors are going to hate seing this thing in my driveway so I will probably just leave it at my shop for now, it won't fit in my garage. It makes my pickup look small. The first thing I did with it was brought it bown to the local mud pits and ran it through everything I could find, never even slowed down.

I love it!!! I want a Deuce-and-a-Half!!! I've come acroos a couple of nice ones, but my wife would shoot me if I came home with one. Great great find.

Way to go Neil. I put a few miles on one of those babies cruising the Autobahn. Road trip for the New England forum though the streets of Boston.

Looks to be like a deuce and a half with a 50 cal mount ring on top. Tires are no fun to change on those, and I mean the tire to the rim not to the truck. No fun to ride in on the tank trails.

Oh heck yeah!!!! I have the same pickup, but in white. Watch out for those rims...I think they has splits and it's hard to find guys...in California anyway...to work on 'em. I want pic's of the first car you drive over with the deuce!!

What, didn't get enough of one of those things in the Corps? Awesome, would love one for hunting. (Especially if it came with the .50 cal.)

:rolleyes: I reckon that 'thing' would pass anything except a petrol station.

Nice size vice on the front though!!

Still have the splinters in my butt from the wood slat seats in the back. Ran up and down just about every hill in Korea in 53-54. It was the only thing that would move during Monsoon season.

I would love one for when the run redlights. Also would need the 50Cal that goes on top for the Gang bangers in my Neighbor hood. I could so much fun with that around here. Just think the time the idiot in the BMW with the loud music cuts you off, just drive over the him. Drove back in 63 while at Ft Lewis WA. Loved it. A 12000lb truck to haul 5000lb . Mine was Diamond Reo if I remember.

Now that's a truck, I drove one of them for a summer job at Camp Gagetown in '74 and '75. We were drivers for the reservests that were there on summer manouvers, it was a great job, heck I'd almost have done it for free. Some of the stuff we put those trucks through was absolutely amazing. Have fun and enjoy it, but, hope and pray that you never get that sucker stuck.

Looks like an 800 series 5 ton with an 855 Cummins. I have a Duce and it can jerk the foundation out from under a sky scraper. The dang things are almost indestructible. Im am jealous though, I dont have a turret on mine:tongue:

I always wanted one of those and a real tank to play around with. You may be surprised by this but my wife just doesn't agree..
The tank may be the next toy. I probably should have talked with the wife before buying this, but she was busy so I went for it. I'm sure she will understand, besides, she rarely comes down to the shop......maybe I can hide it under a tarp. I'll go look for one today.

Thanks Ken, these seats sure were smooth by the time we got to them.

I want one of these:

As seen on Top Gear. Yes, it's possible to buy one £300,000 (just under 1/2 million USD I think) and a background check (at least according to the show). See the video here: The Marauder - Top Gear - BBC - YouTube
