As you know, the Midwest Penturners Gathering is The Largest and Longest Running Symposium put on specifically for the penmaking community. Over the last few years, we have established an MPG Hall of Fame to honor those who have helped lead, encourage and expand the penmaking community. This year's inductee is our very own Jeff Brown. Jeff's contribution to the penmaking community is second to none. The IAP is a place we all gather to share our ideas, our inventions, mentor one another and just have some fun and conversation. We appreciate all the work that Jeff does in keeping this site up to date, relevant, and the best virtual place to share our enthusiasm for penmaking. We at the MPG sincerely believe that without Jeff and the IAP, none of this would have ever happened. So thank you, Jeff, and thank you IAP.
Please take a minute and thank Jeff for all the work he has done for the pen making community.
Also inducted this year was Bob Jackson. Bob was a tremendous supporter for the MPG and took it over when it looked like it might get a rest. Bob and the entire "Ohio Team" keep us on track.
For those of you who do not know who the current members of the MPG Hall of Fame, here they are:
Inaugural inductees:
Greg Cozad (Cozee) - Organizer of the first ever MPG and will always have a special place ...
Rich Coers (Coers) - Continued the tradition in a super-human single-handed presentation for another four years ...
Dick Sing - The true "Father Of Penmaking" ...
Second Year:
Ed Brown - ed4copies - Another true original and supporter of the MPG since the start
