Getting ready for a big show and I need to get 20 of these made.
I think I have it figured out now.

My design--&---Decal

Seirra-----Curly Maple----Decal----4 coats of sealer----- cast in resin----and turned

Cool thing about making pens----we are always learning new tricks.

I have some curly maple I've wanted to turn, but wanted to spruce up a bit. That's the perfect answer.

So, do you under turn the maple, apply the label and then cast it?

Yup----but remember it's real thin ----get that skew sharp for the maple.
