So far I have just turned some 7mm pens. My question is, if I'm going to make some of the bigger pens that call for a 10mm drill size, is there a 10mm mandrel to use as well?? My current mandrel would not be big enough to hold a 10mm tube. Can someone please explain?

Thanks

Tube size has almost nothing to do with mandrel size (actually, it's the spindle part of the mandrel). Berea is the only manufacturer that uses different diameter spindles, their A and B mandrels. In general, each kit from Berea specifies which of their mandrels/spindles is for each style kit. When you turn larger kits which may have 8mm, 10mm or other sized tubes, the bushings are adapted to fit both the tube and the mandrel/spindles, so unless you buy a kit from Berea that requires their B mandrel, you will not need another mandrel. Hope this helps.
