Well I turned two pens so far. Thanks to Bill (renowb) for inviting me to his house to show me some things.

I ordered a starter kit from PSI that had 5 slimline pens and 5 slimline pencils. I am using the pencil today and it alreay broke. When I click to advance the lead the whole lead comes out.

The pen is good. Not sure if I want to mess with pencils. I am sure some pencils are better than others.

Nice job on the first writing instruments.
Now the vortex will start pulling you, and your wallet, in more and more.

Just hang on, it's a wild ride.

congratulations on the beginings of a great hobby. Looks like your off to a great start.

Congratulations. Good looking pens. When I first started out I made several pen and pencil sets. I still have them. A 7 mm pencil is better than a 5mm, but I have found, no one really wants one.

Nice work Greg!!! thanks for sharing, be sure to take pics of all your work so in a year or two from now you can look back and see all of your improvements!

Hey Greg, glad to see your up and running! Running to the bank for more money to pursue this hobby!:biggrin:
Nice job on the pen/pencil set.
Keep them coming! Need any help, the folks here are Awesome!

welcome to the addiction.
yeah when i started i got a bunch of pens and pencils, figured sets would work out great. i still haven't found any really reliable pencil kits yet. besides at the shows people tell me they're not using pencils any more. which if you think about it that's true. anyway, good looking pens. keep up the practice and you'll be amazed at the work you can do with the help of the guys on here.

Looks great. Welcome to a new world. Despite how cheap it appears - you can really get sucked in for a lot of cash
