Hello all,

My name is Mike. I live in Albuquerque NM. I am also here to learn and also to communicate with like minded people,
I bought my small Jet Lathe (10" swing) around 2008 and turned a few pens, a couple of muggle wands and a couple small bowls.
Since then I have acquired too many tools and accessories to list, and have turned about 40 or 50 pens, most of which I gave away.
I had a job disruption and ended up traveling about 90% of the time for work and didn't do any turning to speak of for about 9 years.
I am now retired and really enjoy turning. I want to turn pens, tops, rolling pins and other random stuff and see if I can sell them.

Welcome aboard Mike. Hope you stick around and show us some of your work. Like many here we sell a few things but give away more. It is the fun seeing those who get a pen and we tell them it was hand made. Have fun in your retirement years. Well earned.
