I have been at this site before, just before we left for last summers trip, and I have found it again recently. I started turning pens in October and have my learning curve going up pretty steep. I have read a lot here, watched lots of videos, and reviewed many articles in the library. I am trying to settle on just a few pen models to focus on to reduce the supply needs and allow me to improve my "fit & finish" on the pens. I haven't tried to sell any pens yet, I have been giving them away, but have been giving it some thought.
I also make pepper mills, bottle stoppers, bowls, and most recently a salad set with five individual bowls and one large serving bowl. I have also made some tops and kalidescopes for the grand kids, a few segmented bowls, a couple of "bowls from a board," some small hollow forms, a few potpourri bowls, and some natural edge bowls.
I have found some great information on this site and the members seem very willing to help others improve their skills so thank you and keep up the good work.
