Hello all. I've been a woodworker for 40 or so years but just started turning pens a year or so ago. I was raised building stuff and my father (in his 80s) is still a very good cabinet maker and spends hours in the shop. I bought a lathe at a garage sale a couple years ago as an addition to my shop but didn't use it much until my son gave me all the stuff I needed to turn pens for Christmas last year. Now I'm a pen junkie. Driving my wife nuts. She calls herself the woodshop widow. I have pens in 4 galeries in Colorado and have done 3 shows so far. Have shows scheduled the next 2 weekends. Anyhow, glad to be a part of "the gang".
