I tried to register at the new AAW Woodturners site. and it says I have been banned?! What?!
I cannot get into it even to ask what is going on. I have never even seen the site until yesterday and I am an AAW member. does anyone know someone that I can contact? Alice

Ed Davidson is the webmaster ..email is webmaster...at..woodturner..dot....org

I bet he can hook you up.
 
Ok, I am not sure which this is. I received a notice to join
http://www.woodturnersforum.org/ This is the site. It seems to be a forum to talk about issues about AAW but also woodturning issues. I followed the directions and the next day it said I was banned. I could have made a mistake or maybe they sent me an e-mail that I had to respond to in a certain amount of time. I am not sure, but I will try both suggestions.

I e-mailed the person on the site given to me. I also tried to register again using my name and still was declined. I hope they work it out.

Sounds like you're making progress!!! "Declined" sounds so much better than BANNED!!!

Ok, I obviously really missed something that is going on with the AAW. After reading all the posts I still can't quite figure out what happened. I have been out of the AAW loop for a couple of years. I would rather not start anything on this site, but if someone wants to e-mail me and tell me what is going on that would be great.
