Got some quebracho pen blanks at Woodcraft a while back. Decided to pay around with it. Started research on it. I looked at this website (saved it, too)-https://www.wood-database.com/. Found it's off my Janka scale I keep in the shop- database shows 4,750! And I thought Arbor vita was hard! Name translates roughly, "axe breaker." Anyone use it before?

New to me, too. Sale item at Woodcraft. It wasn't on the Janka list I printed off a few years ago for reference. As I said, it is off that scale. Highest was Brazilian ebony at about 3700. BTW, Arbot vita was not listed, either.
