New turnings.

A couple of new turnings from this past week..

1. Fun little candle light from spalted maple.. this tree fell in my back yard a couple of years back..

2. Bloodwood bowl

3. Ambrosia Maple, Crush Grind Peppermill with walnut cabochon on the top. This was originally done as a standard peppermill with the knurl nut on top, but the shaft of the grinding mechanism backed out of the grinder and I had to modify it...

I apologize for the crappy pictures.. I have a new camera and still trying to figure it out...and I'm a crappy photographer anyway... the camera never sees what I see when I take a picture.

Great work Chuck, but you need to work on your photo skills. The photo's are not showing off your talents, or the beauty of the wood![][]

You are right.. my son is home this week and plan to get him to help me with some pointers on the camera.. never been much of a photographer.. my son is an amateur aspiring to turn pro photographer.. his pictures are great.. maybe I can improve.
