New turning medium -crayons

Step one, go to Goodwill store and pick up pan to use when melting crayons.
Step two, buy a whole bunch of crayons.
Step three, hope I can get all the wax off the floor in my shop. Just have to give this a try.

Can you imagine the trouble and pain you would be in if you got that stuck to your shoes and walked into the house...:eek::biggrin:
 
I'm thinking, spread a lot of sawdust or chips on the floor to keep the wax off the floor and, turn naked. No chance of tracking crayons to the carpet in the house that way.

That would be a scary sight, besides I was always told no loose or dangling things near the lathe.
 
That is way cool! Is the CA enough to firm up the wax so it will stay solid? Seems like it would be easily damaged (or melted).
