I like JohnU's Opal FX blanks and I'm warming to the Italian paper blanks too. These pens took me an hour to make and will list for $150 each. If you sell pens I strongly suggest you give these a look at Exotic Blanks the next time you visit. Be sure to upgrade to the Schmidt 5888 rollerball which always finishes the sale if you can get them to write with it. My customers are overwhelmed by that cartridge; the 888 not so much.

Thank you so much Mark for sharing, and for your encouragement. I was wondering if you add a CA finish to these blanks?
Take care,
Rod

I buff on both of the first two Beale buffs well. With JohnU I blanks don't apply CA. He suggests it but mine sell and a nicely glossy.
