Howdy. My name is Derek and I have a fountain pen and stationery related YouTube channel @dwrdnet. I have been into pens since 2013 and with the Youtube channel, I added a podcast where I interviewed some makers, and I am fortunate to have some close to me, so I have now gone to the turning side. I picked up an Atlas 12" from @PensByPasquale and have started doing kitless fountain pens. I am only 17 pens in since the end of November, but I feel like each one is a little better than the one before it.

Nice looking group of pens.

I especially like the one taken outside over the snow. Love the blue iridescence in the material. Whose material is that and what is it called?
 
Hi Derek! Welcome from another turner from the now frozen beaches of NJ! Your pens are very nice - I especially like some of your blank choices! I am principally a kitless builder who does his own casting.

Welcome Derek. There have been a few teens and young adults here have excelled and with their youthfulness showed some intrigue with designs and new ideas. These are always welcome! And if we can help in any way, just ask.
