New to pen making

Medicine is my day job, but pens are becoming my hobby. I've become interested in fountain pens, and fixing them up as best I can. That has lead me to become interested in Urushi.

So I bought some kin-Urushi, clear urushi and urushi isehaya and I will start experimenting with it on small things. Then I'll try on existing pens. I want to eventually try on plastic resin, ebonite, and metal pens.

Any advice on a newbie working with urushi would be helpful, thanks!

Welcome Christopher, I have seen some people on here doing Urushi. I haven't gone down that path yet myself.

Welcome aboard Christopher, I'm sorry but I can't help you out, I know little to nothing about Urushi. So, I'll be tagging along, with what you find out about working with the stuff.
