Fairly new to pen making. I'm happy that I found this community.

I'm an artist by heart, I have practice many different mediums, from painting, ceramics, and furniture. Yet, pen making ignites a special interest, it's borderline woodwork crafts and jewelry. I'm flooded with ideas.

Currently, I have made 20 pen and gifted them to friends, they all love the pens. So, now I want to Custom make the clips on my pens. I enrolled into a jewelry making class to learn how to work with small metals. What do you guys think?

Welcome Gustavo! You are off to a great start with your background and ambitions. This is a great place to get ideas and find out how to realize them. I've found the same thing you mentioned; that this craft has elements of woodworking and jewelry, so we get to make pretty things that actually have a purpose and are useful. I look forward to you sharing your efforts here.

"What do you guys think" I think you're onto a great new hobby...stay creative and learn about who you are and what ya got!!
 
Welcome from NJ. Glad you found us however that happened. Wish you well as you travel down whatever path you take to enjoy this hobby. Combining other interests helps along the way. Just have fun and share with us your journey. We all love photos here.
