I bought some new tires for my FJ, they are 285/17's Dick Cepek Crusher. They are larger than stock and risk rubbing on the body mounts if turning over a bump so I did it right by replacing the suspension with a pro comp kit. New struts, and springs, raising the front 3" and rear 1", which also leveled out the body lines perfectly. Lowered the body armed 1" and extended the sway bars. It looks awesome, and rides much smoother than the stock set up did. The only downside is that now the truck is 5" taller and I have to let a bit of air out of the tires to get it into the shop. Fortunately it doesn't need to go inside often, mostly only if a repair is needed or for winter storage.
