Wow! Nice shop!!! The only problem I see is that it doesn't seem to fit in with your landscape and I know exactly where a better home for your new shop would be... ;>) Congratulations and know I envy you!!!

Too cool! I've often wondered if a guy, or gal, couldn't make a pretty good shop from one of those. I figure if most of what you do is turning, this should be perfect. A bunch of insulation and or a small oil filled heater and you're good to go. A window AC would be good and you could keep meat fresh in it if need be. Be sure to post pics after you get it all set up.

...nice! Are you planning on beefing up the flooring where the heavy machinery will set? For me that would be 2 lathes and a mill, large Bridgeport type. Wishing I had room for an out building! WTG!

Congratulations!!! That looks very much like my garden shed I added recently. The only difference is that I bought the pressure treated version and painted it myself. I also added another layer of 5/8 plywood flooring to mine which may be overkill (which I am prone to do). Very well made buildings. You didn't happen to get it from Rent to Own Sheds did you?

No, but I think they all re-sell one "type" of building, everytime we went looking they all looked hauntingly alike... :)

looks good.. What size is it? Appears you could build a little office in the loft with an attic ladder..

Its only 10x20... Going to add a leanto on the side for my blacksmithing stuff, probably... Spent a few day adding shelves on the front half, still need to add some drawers and such to get everything organized.

Looks like 2 teenagers in the background of the 2nd pic. I can't understand why you don't have more time. It looks like you have a good start though.

That looks like you can have a lot of storage up high. Are you going to floor any of that? It would be a great place for lumber storage.

Thanks for this insight. I need to build an inexpensive shop, and this has decided me to look at these barns.. I was looking at a 12x20 kit barn with floor for $4800 plus tax. Now I just have to compare the cost of building it from scratch.

I hope you really enjoy e new "toy shop". I am looking forward to seeing how you do up the inside.

Its probably much cheaper to build it from scratch, but I am not much of a handyman, so I had to factor that in. :)
