Just got some new blanks in -- looking forwarding to turning them down to maybe some Trimlines, Comforts or some Gatsby's - Who knows......

I love desert ironwood, it turns and sands well. Some pieces have beautiful golden colors hidden within that are reveled when turned. Good luck and show us some finished pens.

Yes the DI does come out nicely
I need to fit the front just a bit more and work on the finish a bit more.

Desert Ironwood barrel, Ebony cap and the base is ancient redwood. Not the best picture to show off the ironwood but it's all I could find right now.
