I have access to 50 foam pads as a support for sand paper. They are soft on one side to reduce fatigue or for soft edges and hard on the other to give a flat surface to your turnings. I have been using this one for some time (as you can tell from the photo) and it works great for me.
My question is, is there enough interest in posting them for sale here for $3 dollars or so each? They are light enough to fit in a standard envelope and may/may not have printing on them as they were headed for the auto industry for much more.

That looks like it should do the trick, Glenn. Not to rain on your parade, but I use old mouse pads for the same thing and they work great. If I didn't have a few dozen, I'd pick up some of these.[^]
