Finished these last night... 3 crush grind and 3 crank pepper mills... two of the CG's are from woods I've had laying about for a while.. the Elm is from the tree outside my shop... it dropped a 10' limb earlier this summer and it just happened to be over 3" diameter, so perfect for mills... the Poplar is a chunk I had that was originally intended to be a bowl blank, but cracked and split across the middle... has some nice color on one side. The other CG is a segmented blank made up of a bunch of cut off strips from other projects... I hate to throw a piece of wood away...

The cranks were also cut-offs that I glued up... two of them were a little short, so I added caps and base pieces.. works well I think.. your thoughts?

Nice. Who do you get your CG mechanisms from?

I usually buy them from Cam Levers out of Canada...https://crushgrind.us
but here of late he's selling in CAD and with the conversion rate varying the price can vary some... they were a flat price for a long time.

Amazon also has a good price, but they are out of stock as of last night.
