New Pens from Traveling Shop

These are all pens I created in my traveling shop. We were on a campsite at Merrick State Park, WI just upriver of Fountain City on the Mississippi River.

All the wood pens have my usual nine coats of WTF sanded between coats to 6000 MM. The acrylics are dry sanded to 600 Abranet and then wet sanded to 12,000 MM followed by polishing with four applications of One Step.

For the Purple Pebble blank hole and the tube were painted in white acrylic. The Purple Green Yellow Swirl blank was also painted but in black acrylic.

I have a commission for the Cigar; the others are all for inventory.

Note, I no longer take the baby drill press. I started drilling on the lathe earlier this year. I find it slower but much more accurate.
