Hi, I just started turning pens a couple days ago. I have been obsessed with pens since I was little, always collecting whatever promo pens my dad would bring home from work. I got into fountain pens and that opened up a whole other expensive world to me. I have always wanted to make my own pens and so I have spent the past few months watching countless YouTube videos, reading articles, and getting my mind around everything I could. I then bought the basic equipment to start turning and have a little plastic sheeted corner of my room dedicated as my "shop." I went and bought an old sturdy desk at Goodwill as my workbench and can now see how addicting it is to turn! I'm looking forward to always learning more and diving in head first into making my obsession grow.
