Finally joined the group. Here is my first attempt at scanning some pens. The first is Praduak tiger grain with ebony, alternative ivory and pick guard. The second is Big Leaf Maple with abalone sea shell as void filler. Kirk[8D]

Thank you. I will post more pens as soon as I can start an album and scan more of them. I will try more in the future to post pictures that do the pens more justice. I have some ideas that I will try such as my digital camera and also the use of some diffusion to decrease glare. This group has helped me a lot with ideas. I am currently stabilizing some blanks with a setup that I learned from this group of fellow pen turners. Thanks again Kirk [8D]
