Alot of forums I have been on (Not a pen forum Again this is my first time turning wood or resin) I'M

There is a blanks forum, which is where I would start. That said, I would go to ptownsubbie.com, he has a lot of useful stuff for that kind of thing.

In particular, this little jig might be helpful for what you are doing:

Thanks for the reply I will start in blanks, And for the tube in rolling jug I'M a a retirement engineer and i have a 200w laser so i just made one, But thanks if i didn't no of the jug this would been very helpful, I have all the tools to make some nice pens just need to make some.
