for the upcoming farmer's market... starts in May, but wanted to build a little inventory ahead...
The first one is a glue up of Maple and Spectraply...a crush grind mill.
The rest are midi crank mills.... nice little mills and are received well at the market.
The first four are from a block of Jatoba or Brazilian Cherry (Not actually cherry at all, but often called that...from a fellow vendor at the market whose husband is working in NYC installing a walkway with this wood... he had some cut-off that he gave me... all were about 2 1/2 inches thick by 6-8 inches wide and varying lengths... nice stuff to work with.
The last two were from a block of white oak that I got from a saw mill up north when I drove 100 miles to pick up a puppy my wife wanted.... it was already dry when I got it and it lay in my shop almost 4 years before I did anything with it.
