Still fine turning it but should be up and running next Monday. Vega Pro Lathe. I still have two more pieces of equipment coming in the next three months. But at least for now this will allow me to keep up with production.

I have never seen anything like that before....it looks like it has a cog and bike chain arrangement instead of a gear and leadscrew?
 
This is one of their copy lathes. I am still getting use to it. It is a massive piece of equipment. All of the adjustments are done manually which is a pain because of the weight.
 
Dan yes I am still the only one doing all of the turnings. I have my old lathe setup for CA Finishes and buffing. It still serves as a backup if needed.

Chuck so far no backlash but will see how this works out. It's been two years trying to decide which way to go. CNC is still in the plans but at least they should help me to stay on top of the work.
