New lathe question

I have the 18/36 and could not be happier, So far the best lathe I've owned.

I am looking at the 1524 because of the little extra room between center and the stand. The 1836 would be out of my budget and not necessarily what I need.

The Laguana line is getting great reviews from I have seen and if I were to get a new lathe it would be a Laguana.

I've got the 1216. No complaints. Awesome lathe.
